Now you will need to log into the site to locate your Unemployment tax information. Just enter your Social Security number and hit submit. Once that is verified you will need to enter your secure pin number.
On this page you will see all your tax information. At the top you will see your Federal Tax ID number. This is the number assigned to your Unemployment claim. This can be used to retrieve your unemployment tax information through many online tax programs and through several tax prepares.
In the middle of the page you will see graph with the most recent three years of unemployment earnings and taxes. First you will see the year indicated for the tax information and monies earned. The next column is the amount paid, this is the total amount earned through Oklahoma Unemployment for that year. The next two columns will indicate your Federal and State Tax withholding amounts. Keep in mind you must select your tax withholdings when you first apply for Oklahoma Unemployment, if you selected not to withhold taxes from your unemployment compensation this amount will be zero. Next to the tax information there will also be a listing for the ATAA Amount (Alternative Trade Adjustment Assistance: this is the special benefit for displaced workers over 50 years old to subsidize their income). At the bottom of the page you will see the address verification if you selected to have your tax forms mailed to you. You can either verify the address is correct by clicking the radio button labeled no or you can click yes to indicate there has been a change and enter the correct address. Once this is done hit submit and the request to have the Oklahoma Unemployment Tax Information will be submitted and your form will be mailed.

If you want to request an Oklahoma Unemployment 1099 Form you first need to go to the Oklahoma Unemployment website Unemployment.state.ok.us
Next you will need to click on the link to inquire on Monies Reported to IRS (1099).
Here you will be prompted to verify your information by providing your social security number. After you submit your social security number click the continue button to be forwarded through the process to request an Oklahoma Unemployment 1099 form.
The next page to request your Oklahoma Unemployment form is to enter your four digit pin number. This should be the same pin you created when you originally signed up for Oklahoma Unemployment benefits. Once you have the pin number entered click on the continue button to be forwarded to the Benefits Reported to the IRS (1099) page.
The page that pulls up next will show the most recent three years of monies earned through Oklahoma Unemployment. At the top of the page will be your Federal Tax ID number. Many companies (such as Jackson Hewitt) can use this number to locate and submit your Oklahoma Unemployment information online without the actual Tax form, (I was able to do this last year with my federal Tax ID number with no problem). This page will also show you a brief break down of your tax earnings and amount paid.

File for unemployment as soon as you become unemployed! You should also file for unemployment if you are working less than full time and earning income that is less than your benefit amount. You will need your social security number along with the name, address, and dates for your last employer.
To continue receiving unemployment compensation you will have to file a claim each week. You benefit week runs from Sunday through Saturday. You will need to file after your benefit week, you will be verifying that you did not work or turn down a job during the previous week. You have up to fourteen days to file a claim of the week ending date (Saturday of the week you are filing for). You can either file your claim by phone or over the internet. Any claim not filed within fourteen days of the last day of the benefit week (the week you are answering questions about) will be denied.
You should report any all earnings for work that was done during that week. Make sure you report the earnings even if you were not paid that week. This verifies that you did work and should be earning money. You will also be asked for the number of hours worked during the week you are filing for.
Most benefits are limited to 26 times your weekly benefit amount, therefore you will receive benefits for up to 26 weeks as long as you still qualify for the benefits. You should be able to receive up to fifty percent of the total wages earned during your base period. The has been an increase to the minimum amount as of January 1, 2009 you can collect up to $8900.00 in unemployment compensation benefits.
